I had a great time at The Villas at King. At Christmas the residents were all adopted and given gifts from the community. It was so great to make this happen and to be apart of it. I definitely recommend The Villas at King.

Too much wrong with this place for just one review. Anything that a person would be afraid of happening to their loved one happened here. HIPPA violations by discussing my mothers medical info with undesignated out of town family member just because he had access to funds that were paying the 4500 a month they were charging for my mothers stay. They put my mom on hospice and didn't tell her, they singled her out as a problem for being vocal about her wants and wanting to go home. At least 4 other residents told me that I needed to get my mom out of there, that she was being treated unfairly and picked on. The main manager and undesignated family member decided to put my mom on hospice and found a doctor who said my mom had less than 6 months to live but then took my mom off her medication - she passed away 3 days later without any family present. Did not notify any family of her being taken off her meds. They did not call her only in town family member her daughter of her condition while she was dying for 3 days and had her body moved to a crematory they chose before letting family know that she had died. They were not equipped to handle my mom's complex health condition and rather than refer her to skilled nursing took the hospice route of removing her from their care. They were not caring, understanding or professional or ethical as far as I'm concerned about my mother or her care. I was helpless to advocate or chose where my mother died or even to be made aware that she was dying. My other didn't deserve to die alone. I was very vocal about not wanting my mom to die there but they decided that she would die and when and alone. The worst months of our lives were spent dealing with the management. They took something from me and my mother that can't be given back or replaced and decided that she didn't deserve to have her daughter there for her while she was dying. They decide when she would die. No religious rites were given despite her being Catholic - they took that from her too. Nightmare doesn't even being to describe it..

I was a resident here for less than 3 months. I did not enjoy it very much. they pulled me so hard it left a burn on my neck and shoulder. They put a diaper over my stomach instead of a bag on my colostomy. I would beg my daughter to take me home every single day. They wouldnt consult with my daughter to make decisions about my care because she advocated for me and spoke up on my behalf. They would give conflicting information to members of my family and they took me off my medication that was sustaining my very frail condition. I cried and cried to go home the whole time I was here. My family paid $5000 a month for me to be here when it should have been covered by altcs but they aren't altcs approved so they lied and said I was denied when they never tried to even apply. Living nightmare... Finally I'm free

They wouldn't have there own mom n dad living here. Nuff said

Most of the people who work there are friendly the houses are clean. the day to day workers aren't the problem. It's the lady Tanisha who is the main manager, it's Alma who is another main manager. They are rude, dishonest, uncompassionate and chose to not adheres to guidelines about protected health information. They will keep medical records hostage and lie to you about any thing you ask them. They are rude and have no respect for families or employees. Beware of this place and any place associated

Great community partner we enjoy collaborating with; staff are caring and compassionate.

My mom has been a resident with The Villas for over a year. I was so worried about finding the “right place” for her considering her memory issues. Finding the right “fit” for a loved one in assisted living/adult care can be so overwhelming and stressful too. My mom is extremely stubborn and set in her ways. I am so happy with the care and attention she has received since placing her here. My sister and I now have a HUGE sense of relief knowing my mom gets great care, she’s in a safe environment, she has regular meals, she has assistance and oversight with her medications, she gets regular visits from her primary care physician and has regular activities and social stimulation. Prior to living at The Villas, my mom had several falls at home, she would burn her food and forget to take her necessary medication. My mom has since been diagnosed with dementia. I work in healthcare and am continually impressed with the compassion, patience, responsiveness and attentiveness of the caregivers. Whenever I have had concerns or questions, the management staff has been amazing to work with. The management staff and caregivers also helped us to easily navigate the stressful transition from moving my mom from her home to The Villas. My mom can be extremely difficult and I have seen the caregivers and managers work literal magic with getting my mom involved with activities and other residents. I have nothing but respect for the caregivers and management at The Villas for all that they do. I highly recommend this facility.

Staff is friendly, it’s always clean it feels very homey.
