La Loma is a wonderful place to live. Socialization is the most important part to us. The Life Enrichment programs are awesome and offer a multitude of meaningful and enjoyable activities—learning, moving, and engaged with many choices every day. The entire La Loma staff is consistently outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to every resident. Dining is also a highlight—awesome! Maintenance and housekeeping are also given with professionalism and kindness. We also love having a garage. We are so glad that we moved here. Residents thrive, make friends, and feel at home. After four years of living at La Loma that it was the right move at the right time. Living here is indescribable. The employees are amazing and so friendly. The residents have become family. There is never a dull day at La Loma. Come and join us.

As residents for just under two years we can report that we’ve been more than satisfied with the facility. Our first floor apartment is quiet and has a back door for easy dog walking. Dining services are great. Food is high quality, consistent with ample portions. We think of La Loma as a cross between a college campus , a cruise ship and a resort. Facilities are well maintained but expect litter when external workmen are on site. There’s been a lot of construction in 2026 which has stirred up dust and caused traffic issues. Staff have long tenures , are responsive and very friendly. They…

We moved in earlier than we thought we might given our ages but would do it all over again

My wife and I moved here earlier this year and it was a great decision. The residents and staff make it feel like one big happy family. We enjoy the food, activities and friendliness and caring of everyone. The entire facility, including our individual residence, are update to the highest standard.

My 94-year-old mother spent two and a half months at La Loma Skilled Nursing Facility for rehabilitation after suffering fractures to her left tibia and left fibula. Throughout her stay, my family and I were consistently impressed by the exceptional care she received. Knowing she was in a safe, caring environment gave us tremendous peace of mind. The nurses and physical therapy staff treated her with professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness. She received excellent medical care, delicious homemade meals, her medications were carefully managed, and she was encouraged to participate in activities, such as Bingo and Ice Cream Socials, that kept her engaged and connected. The staff also coordinated transportation to her doctor's appointments, ensuring she continued to receive the follow-up care she needed without adding stress to our family. What truly sets La Loma apart is the people. It is obvious that the staff genuinely care about their residents and treat them with dignity, respect, and love. My mother has now been home for over a week, and she asks at least three times a day if she can go back to La Loma. She especially misses "her nurse", Pat, who cared for her with such kindness and compassion. She also misses her physical therapist, whose encouragement and dedication helped her regain her strength every day, even though I unfortunately don't remember his name. She often talks about the kind young man who served her meals each day, and she always looked forward to visits from Sister Jennifer, who brought her so much comfort and joy. As her daughter, I especially appreciated Pedro, the social worker, who kept me informed throughout my mother's stay. His communication, compassion, and genuine concern for her well-being made an incredibly difficult time much easier for our family. I also want to recognize Lawson at the front desk. His warm smile and friendly welcome made every visit feel a little brighter and reminded us that we were entering a place where people truly cared. The care my mother received at La Loma exceeded our expectations in every way. She arrived needing skilled nursing and intensive rehabilitation, and she left stronger, more confident, and eager to continue her recovery at home. Every senior deserves the level of care, compassion, and respect that my mother experienced there. We are deeply grateful to everyone at La Loma for helping her regain her strength and for treating her like family.

La Loma Village has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. I moved here at age 83, earlier than I originally planned, after receiving an unexpected excellent offer on my home in New Mexico. I’ve lived alone my entire adult life, value my privacy, and have always handled my own decisions, so choosing a senior living community was something I approached very carefully. What I found at La Loma Village has exceeded every expectation. The transition was smooth, the staff is consistently kind and professional, and the community itself is beautiful, well‑run, and genuinely welcoming. I’m in excellent health and still swim every other day (thanks to the indoor pool just down the hall!), and I’ve been able to maintain my independence while also enjoying something I didn’t realize I was missing but knew I needed: regular, meaningful social interaction. For anyone helping a parent, relative, or friend make this move — or for those, like me, making the decision on their own — the peace of mind here is real. Knowing that my future health needs are already planned for and in place has lifted a tremendous weight off my shoulders. I can simply live my life, enjoy my days, and age in place with confidence. La Loma Village has given me both security and a renewed sense of community. I’m grateful I made the move when I did.

This is a great place to live in an independent lifestyle mode. The food, the services, the activities are all first class. I would recommend La Loma to all my friends and family. First class in every respect.
