I have visited the community of Sun City West many times over the past 3 decades as my parents are residents. I moved here early in 2025. It is one of the best not only in this country but in the world for its amenities. There is a club for just about anything, including PRIDES a club that maintains the beauty and integrity of our physical environment. As a Sun City West resident I am proud to live here and grateful that this is the place I landed.
The best retirement community in the USA. Well maintained, low annual dues, 4 Recreation Centers, 7 Golf courses, 90+ Clubs.

The SCW community is a diverse and fun community with lots to do, not only in the city but being 29 miles outside of Phoenix add many other things and activities to enjoy.
Very dangerous place to live. Burglury, car theft, and reckless driving are daily events. I have been physically assaulted 3 times at the dog park by bully residents. The staff bullies & inflicts punishment on residents. Verbal assault & bullying is normal behavior. Absentee incompetent management does NOTHING.
Lots to do here
Amazing community. Has several recreation centers for swimming, pool, and gyms. Golf carts share the road and a very friendly, care free area where seniors live together.
